I am so fortunate to live by this beautiful lake...The mountain, her name is Konocti. There are many spirits living here. Some times I can feel the pain of them as I travel thru the mountains...I look upon the ridges and can have this sense that I am not alone, but this kinship is not of joy, moreso how modernization has and will strip our Mother of her beauty.

I will try to dig up more that I have taken and put them in the appropriate forum..

My mom used to sing this song to me and I love it:
