![]() ![]() ![]() | The loaf is still hot - I'm eating some now. Can you smell it? ![]() I started it nine hours ago, left a sponge rising in a chilly place. When I got home from a few hours of work, I kneaded lots of flour into it, then let it raise a while in a bowl in a warm spot. Then I put it in a pan and left it alone for another hour. Then one with the oven, not too hot, for most of another hour. Owoo, it smelled so good. What's in it? Mostly whole wheat flour, a few handfuls of oatmeal, a little gluten flour to make it bouncier, a bit of milk, oil, yeast, enough water to do it. I don't measure anything. Dang, it's good with butter... |
