The company said its new .Audio headsets have been developed for a range of uses including gaming, podcasts, internet telephony and multimedia.

Plantronics said a standout feature of its new headset range is ergonomic design. The company said it conducted extensive ergonomic testing in order to develop headsets that people of all different heights, shapes and sizes will find comfortable to wear.

The new product range features 13 models including the .Audio 320 multimedia stereo headphones ($35), which replace .Audio 40.

These headphones feature a noise-cancelling microphone, full-range stereo, ‘QuickAdjust' telescoping, lightweight headband and swivel-mounted ear cushions.

Also in the range is the .Audio 350 ($45) headset which replaces .Audio 90. This headset features 40 mm speakers, noise-cancelling microphone, ‘QuickAdjust' telescoping and inline volume, and mute controls.

The .Audio 500 ($79) digitally enhanced USB stereo PC headset replaces DSP 200. As the name suggests, it features a USB adapter for plug-and-play ease.

The new .Audio range retails from $25 for a .Audio 300 to $150 for a .Audio 550.
