Matera the Mad

I finally had my first peek at Vista. Friends who have a new computer invited me over for dinner - and to watch football, which means I go play with the computer instead of sitting by the Box That Lies.

They had a problem with their e-mail, they couldn't get it working in Outlook. Also some weirdness happening when they tried to send mail to more than one person using webmail. So I poked around. Couldn't get a clue in the webmail (ugh!), so I just opened Outlook and fixed the account settings. I took a good guess on something because I've done a lot of different e-mail accounts for myself and for others. That was what they really wanted anyway, not to have to use poky old webmail.

Then I had a good time fiddling around and seeing how far I could go before Windwoes yelled at me - and how far I could go after I told it to "shut the fuff up!" Well, it's a little weirder than XP, but I can see where they are borrowing from Linux - LOLz - so I was right at home in no time.
