![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Cuisine : Gujarati Taste : Medium Course : Snacks Category : Veg Ingredients Quantities Chaat masala powder 1 tsp Cumin seeds 1 tsp For covering For stuffing Garam masala powder 1/2 tsp Ginger (grated) 1 inch piece Green chillies (chopped) 3 Green peas (frozen) 1/2 cup Oil 1 tbsp + to deep fry Onion (chopped) 1 medium sized Potatoes (boiled & diced) 2 medium sized Salt to taste Samosa patti 12 Method of preparation 1. Heat one tablespoon of oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds. When they change colour add chopped onion, grated ginger, chopped green chillies and sauté till the onions are golden brown. Add diced potatoes and mix well. 2. Mash peas slightly and add to the potato mixture. Add salt, chaat masala powder, garam masala powder and mix. Cook for two to three minutes. Remove into a bowl and mash a little. Let it cool. 3. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. 4. Take a patti, rub it with water. Place the mixture on one end and fold it in triangular shape. Seal the edges properly. Deep-fry in hot oil till golden. 5. Drain onto an absorbent paper and serve hot. Serves number of people : 04 Proteins : n.a. Carbohydrates : n.a. Fats : n.a.
